Custom jewelry is all the rage these days, and it's not hard to see why. Whether you're a rapper, hip hop artist, or athlete, there's nothing quite like showing off their custom rapper jewelry.

But what does it take to make iced out jewelry? In this blog post, we'll take you through the process of how to make custom jewelry step by step. Read on to learn details.

1. Why get custom jewelry?

Custom iced out jewelry is a unique way to showcase your unique style. This type of jewelry can be crafted from high-quality materials, including gold and rhodium-plated silver. You can choose a pendant with a special message or name, or even display a picture of you and your family.

2. What types of custom jewelry can I get?

Once you've decided what kind of jewelry you want, you can bring in pictures to show your designer. This can include images from the internet, Pinterest photos, or magazine clippings.

Knowing your style will help the designer narrow down the design possibilities. You can also have existing jewelry reset or set with gemstones or diamonds.

You can get a necklace with iced out diamonds, which will be a unique and stylish addition to your outfit. Many types of iced out jewelry are available, from chains, pendants, earrings, grillz, and watches.

You can even get bracelets made out of these designs. They'll look amazing on everyone and can take any outfit to the next level.

3. How does custom jewelry is made?

Hip hop jewelry is one of the latest styles in jewelry. The designs are bold and brash, and a single piece can take dozens of jewelers to complete. For years, this jewelry style was only available to the rich and famous.

Having a hard time figuring out exactly what you want your design to look like? No problem, describe what you are envisioning and we can bring it to life.  We understand the importance of getting every detail correct and won't settle for anything less than the best.

There are several steps to creating a unique piece of jewelry.  Below is the process:

STEP ONE. Choose Your Style

The first step to designing your own custom jewelry is to establish your style.

This is best done by viewing a variety of items in the genre you're interested in. For example, if you're interested in designing a necklace, you should look at a variety of necklace styles and colors.

You may also want to consult with a jewelry designer to help you define your tastes.

STEP TWO. Pick the Metal

The type of metal that you choose to make custom jewelry is an important consideration. The metal you choose should reflect your own personality and style. You may want to go with something more casual, like rose gold, or you may prefer a more refined look.

STEP THREE. Go With Gems

If you want to make custom jewelry that's a perfect fit for your personality, you may want to consider choosing a gemstone you really love. You can use loose gemstones to create beautiful jewelry, or you can choose a calibrated gemstone to be set in a semi-mount or mounting.

STEP Four. Find the size

Get a caliper or a micrometer. This will give you an accurate measurement of your size.

If you don't have one, bring an existing jewelry piece with you to the jeweler. This way, you can easily use it to find the right size.

STEP Five. Find your budget

A good jeweler should be able to work within your budget. This means that they'll be willing to make changes to the design and materials, depending on your needs.

This flexibility is key to getting a beautiful custom piece on any budget.

STEP Six. Find the size

The jewelry designer will sketch out your concept to ensure that the jewelry will fit you perfectly.

The designer uses modeling software to create a rough sketch. After confirming, the factory will begin working on the final piece.

STEP Seven. A wax is created

The process of creating a wax model for a piece of jewelry begins with a 3d CAD model. This model is then printed in a wax or resin model.

It is used as the basis for creating the final jewelry piece. The wax or resin model is placed in a flask of plaster material.

Once the plaster is cured, the wax or resin model is placed into a high-temperature furnace. Once is melted, the model will have a hollow shape.

STEP Eight. Finish and deliver

The mold is then heated to remove the wax, making room for the metal to be poured into the void.

Finally, the plaster mold is removed and the jewelry is revealed. This process is known as the lost wax process and is a very delicate and time-consuming one.

4. How long does custom jewelry take?

Once you have chosen your design and materials, you will need to wait for the jewelry to be completed.

The entire process can take anywhere from six to twelve weeks.

This time frame depends on the complexity of the jewelry design and how many custom orders are being created at the same time.
